Ashton's production camp is a 3 day intensive workshop where Shackers will learn the basic recording techniques that they'll need to produce demos and home recordings. As a songwriter and artist, your ability to demo out/record your own songs is crucial. Time is money in the music industry, and having a demo to take to a producer speeds up the entire recording process while alleviating some of the financial strain that artists face today. Topics covered will include the history of recording technology, recording terminology and explanation, a mock session, and much more. Campers will write and record their own demos, and the last hour of Day 3 will be a listening session for campers and parents, in which the campers will showcase everything they have learned!
