We will work on character movement, intention, posture, alignment traveling, gestures,we will begin intro to Basic dance for theater- Rhythm, Timing, Mirror work, time steps, shuffles, jazz square and even stillness.

Celebrate the Holiday and Winter Season with your favorite singers at The Song Shack. You will step into a magical winter wonderland and the songs will truly make you want to stay there!

BE A "TRIPLE THREAT"...
Wear comfortable shoes or character shoes and bring your water!
Students will go over Stage Directions, Character Movements and Intentions and Visible movements, such as gestures, entrances, exits, crosses, sitting, and rising, draw focus (the attention of the audience).
Students will be introduced to beginner dance fundamentals-
Timing and Rhythm- Clapping stepping on beat, Stretching and mirror work
Traveling, jumping, turning, gestures, stillness
Basic dance steps
Step ball change, Jazz square, Shuffle and Pivot turns.
