SPRING SHOWCASE- Saturday APRIL 6th 3pm
THIS IS THE BIG SHOW FOR OUR STUDENTS!
April 6TH at B-Side Minglewood Hall
This annual event shows the great talent here at The Shack. Each student will perform songs they have been working on at The Big stage at Bside with lights and professional sound.
Our Shackie awards will be presented each show to award students that have shown growth, dedication to their craft and the spirit of our culture.
ARTISTS SHOWCASE
April 27th 2025
2-4 pm at GROWLERS MEMPHIS
This will be an evening of music from our Artists and Older Students. Each student will perform their own music set for family, friends and guests. More information will be emailed and please ask your teacher if you qualify for this showcase.

Wear comfortable shoes or character shoes and bring your water!
Students will go over Stage Directions, Character Movements and Intentions and Visible movements, such as gestures, entrances, exits, crosses, sitting, and rising, draw focus (the attention of the audience).
Students will be introduced to beginner dance fundamentals-
Timing and Rhythm- Clapping stepping on beat, Stretching and mirror work
Traveling, jumping, turning, gestures, stillness
Basic dance steps
Step ball change, Jazz square, Shuffle and Pivot turns.
